About Us
Developed programs by an 85-year-old retired Special Education teacher, educational administrator, and adjunct professor—mentored and trained by Nina Traub (author of Recipe for Reading). Using the Orton Gillingham approach, Dorothy Bokor taught her Dyslexic son to read. When he graduated college in computer science, Dorothy Bokor partnered with her son to write an interactive computerized version of the Orton-Gillingham 71 lessons called “Climbing With Phonics”. Software and E-Books embodies over 50 years of practical Orton-Gillingham experience. They aim to make explicit structured reading lessons accessible to anyone, anywhere.
